In February 2011 Laura Deakin was featured in an article in The Age (Melbourne) Magazine. The brief introduction outlined the opening of her first solo exhibition at Gallery Funaki, Melbourne. The Age (Melbourne) Magazine is free on the last Friday of the month with The Age. The Age is a Melbourne based newspaper which is released daily and has one of the biggest reader populations in Australia.
